Pakistani actor Alyy Khan has praised rapper Talha Anjum for waving the Indian flag during a concert in Nepal, calling it a gesture of friendship between India and Pakistan.

Speaking on the ARY podcast, Alyy emphasized the human connection that transcends political tensions. “It was a great gesture,” he said, referring to Talha’s act. He added that artists can receive love in both countries despite their complex bilateral relationship.

He further gave the example of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who starred in Sardar Ji 3. “He went ahead with the film and owned it. Mukra to nahi gaya. Even though the film didn’t release in India, he faced financial loss with dignity,” Alyy explained.

Ally said the series “was very weird” and added that the language made it unsuitable for family viewing. He questioned whether the characters depicted would realistically speak in such crude slang. “It feels forced,” he noted, suggesting that cuss words should only be used when necessary to maintain authenticity.

Concerns Over Bollywood’s Portrayal

Earlier, Viveck Vaswani, a long-time friend of Shah Rukh Khan, also expressed concerns about the series. Speaking to Radio Nasha, he criticized the portrayal of Bollywood as corrupt and negative.

He said, “When Shah Rukh entered the industry, he was welcomed warmly by many, including my family. It’s unfair to depict the industry as a gutter or all people in it as bad.” Vaswani questioned the messaging behind the show, highlighting the contrast between real-life experiences and on-screen dramatization.
