The Assam Rifles held a felicitation ceremony in Aizawl, Mizoram, to honour 55 recruits who successfully cleared pre-recruitment training for Central Armed Police Forces. Of the 55 participants, 32 candidates, including 25 boys and no girls, successfully passed the physical and written assessments. During the event, 20 recruits received certificates and tokens of appreciation.

In Manipur, Assam Rifles, along with local security forces, executed successful operations in Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, and Bishnupur districts. The operation led to the recovery of weapons, including a modified sniper rifle, explosives, and war-like materials, highlighting the force’s role in maintaining security and combating insurgency in the region.
